Background (Preamble):
Gundam X is an Anime series that was released after Gundam Wing in 1996. It's a series about what it would have been like after Gundam Wing, if the Gundam pilots didn't exist at certain turning points.
In short, the year is After War 0015. Once there was a war, a conflict triggered by one colony's move for independance. The war became drawn out, and in desperation the Colonial forces dropped the colonies onto earth.
This killed nearly all of the earths 10 billion inhabitants.
The charecters and Gundams in Gundam X are similar to Gundam W, so if you are a GW fan, this will likely appeal to you.
It also has enemy suits from Universal Century. All I can confirm are Zakus
