This petition is now closed and the first 1233 signatures will be presented to Cambridgeshire County Council on 26 February 2009. It has forced the County to pay attention to the lack of gritting of cycle paths and they will amend their policies for next year.

We, the undersigned, call on Cambridgeshire County Council to grit all major cycle routes in Cambridge during winter to ensure safe travelling conditions for the quarter of people who cycle to work in Cambridge.
