Support improvements to the Great Eastern Main Line

We the undersigned support the Regional Cities East campaign, promoted by Colchester Borough Council and call for the Government to make the following improvements to the Greater Anglia Main Line service.

In particular:

• Faster Journey times and more reliable services – significantly improving upon recent performance;

• Better quality travel experiences – including New Inter-City style trains and improvements to cleanliness;

• More carriage capacity;

• Greater investment in track infrastructure;

• Improved stations and facilities;

• Longer term franchise stability to ensure we see the improvements we want.
