Petition Background (Preamble):
U.S. attention has unfairly not been given to Africa, in relation to its resource contributions.
Petition:
Tell the White House and Congress to stop ignoring West Africa!
With a relatively small amount of short term financial commitment and program assistance, we can reverse the cascade damage done to the nations of Western Africa if there is further assistance from the U.S. such as Educational reform assistance; Sustainable Food Assistance without use of GMO's, Fair Trade / Commerce & Immigration Policies, Security Program Assistance, Environmental Restoration Assistance, and Sustainable Energy Technology sharing.
Many populations in the U.S. have direct ancestral ties to this region of the world, which is also a great asset. The majority of people and nations of Africa currently support a 100% confidence vote to the U.S.A. in the U.N.., lets not let that support drop.
We have a long history in relation with Nigeria, Liberia, Senegal, Ghana, Burkino Faso, Mali, Cote I'Voire, etc.
