Background (Preamble):
Each year thousands of animals are injured or die of abuse and neglect in Greece alone. Often this violence against animals goes unpunished. But it should not be ignored. There is already a law in place but it is not being followed. We need tougher punishment.
Petition:
Animals have rights just like humans. They don't deserve to be tortured and abused. An animal deserves the protection of the state. The law must be more strict against animal abusers.
Please sign now and urge the President of Greece to enforce penalties for animal abusers and make sure enforcement happens. You will be helping get criminals off the streets...!!
