Since the collapse of the Soviet Union, the American education system has been in decline. The United States has become comfortable in its dominate position in the world.
Where once huge sums of money were given to schools to built our future, now there is almost none. If this nations wishes to continue, education must once again be its chief concern.

Across the State of Illinois, schools have been forced to cut back. Hundreds of our best teachers are being let go across our state. This is for one simple reason. For months the The Illinois General Assembly has failed to pass a budget just out of fear of the impeding elections.
As a result, the future of Illinois and the United States of America is being sacrificed on the altar of political greed. We demand that The Illinois General Assembly passes a budget or at the very least passes emergency relief money for our schools.
