Petition Background (Preamble):
Buckeye REC is an electric cooperative that certain people in Southern Ohio have as their electric provider through no choice of their own. We are frequently without service and their rates are higher than any other electric provider in the State of Ohio.
Petition:
We,the undersigned, want Buckeye REC to improve their service and to lower their rates to be more in line with other area electric providers. In addition, when an interruption in service is experienced, we want Buckeye REC to absorb any and all related costs to its customers (i.e., loss of food, wages, etc. and electrial start up costs).
