Defend Abney Park

We, the undersigned, object to the current design proposed for the school at 17 Manor Road, London N16 as of 26th May, 2005, on the grounds that its excessive scale and insensitive design render it intrusive and damaging to its surroundings, and particularly to Abney Park Cemetery. We call on the London Borough of Hackney to respect its own guidelines for the protection of Abney Park cemetery and the Stoke Newington Conservation Area.
