Alexander Galt No Smoking Rule should be modified

Background (Preamble):
At Alexander Galt Regional High school, We are prohibited to smoke on campus. According to the non-smoking law in Canada, we cannot smoke on public property.
Around our school is private property and a highway therefore there is no way possible for us to leave public grounds to smoke, resulting in suspensions, which can be up to 30 Days.
We aren't bad students, we just have to smoke and we need a change.
