Background (Preamble):
On Dec 13, 2007, 5 HINDRAF leaders were arrested under ISA (Internal Security Act). [http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/75999]
Under ISA, any person could be arrested and jailed for unlimited period without giving any reasons, evidence, and it by-passes normal justice process. All it need is just a signature from the Minister. (i.e. HINDRAF leaders were arrested with signature of Malaysia Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi).
ISA is a shame for Malaysia and a continuous threat to Malaysian democracy.
