THIS PETITION IS CALLING FOR A MORE SCIENTIFIC APPROACH TO THE IDENTIFICATION OF PIT BULL TERRIERS AND ALSO FOR AN EDUCATION AND TRAINING BASED APPROACH TO PREVENTING DOG ATTACKS.

Petition:
We, the undersigned, call on the Victorian State Government to abolish legislation giving council rangers the right to seize and destroy any dog that "looks like" a Pit Bull Terrier, and we campaign for a training and education based solution to the issue of dog attacks in our society.
Seizures should be based on temperament testing as opposed to BSL.
