Target: San Francisco City Hall Board of Supervisors
Background (Preamble):
"Little Russia" is a Russian neighbourhood in San Francisco, California, in Richmond District 1 and was unofficially referred by that name since it's foundation in 1920. It was increased by second wave immigration in 1945, and third in 1970-90's.

It is located on Geary Blvd. between 17th and 27th avenues, starting from “Russian Renaissance“ restaurant on 17th avenue and ending at “Russian Cathedral of Holly Virgin “ on 27th avenue.

This project will not increase taxes, require merchants to use it's name or change their business cards.
Petition:
WE, THE UNDERSIGNED, REQUESTING SAN FRANCISCO MAYOR AND BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO OFFICIALLY DESIGNATE ETHNIC HISTORIC NEIGHBOURHOOD "LITTLE RUSSIA" IN RICHMOND DISTRICT 1.
