Background (Preamble):
Around the world, over 250,000,000 children are put to work for several reasons. Times now are no better than the times of the Industrial Revolution, in which millions of children worked under terrible conditions and many died. During the time, workers worked long hours, suffered from disease, and in some cases, died.
The same still happens today, as large corporations take advantage of poverty stricken children around the world. This work is near the same or even worse than the times of the Industrial Revolution. Children suffer from this greatly. Studies have stated that 1 in 7 children around the world is put into this position where they must work to survive.

Petition:
We, the undersigned, call upon the companies of the world that exploit child labor for financial gain to either make working conditions better for children so they aren't forced to suffer, or ensure that they are given a proper education so they can leave to make better lives for themselves and their families.
Every child has the right to enjoy their childhood, this is something they shouldn't be deprived of. If we can increase the education of child workers, this generation will be hopefully the last generation of child labor. Over 250 million suffer due to the harsh conditions and 1 in 7 children in the world are workers. Who may be the 1 in 7 in your life?
