A Petition to The Governor General of Canada to Reject The Prime Minister's Request to Prorogue Parliament

This petition was sent to the Governor General on three occasions, the first within 24 hours of starting the petition, on December 31, 2009, and the last on January 8, 2010.

A copy of the petition was also sent to MPs including the Prime Minister and opposition party leaders on January 8, though only petitioners who allowed their names to be designated 'public' when signing had their names displayed as only the Governor General was designated as the target audience for the petition.
